DAVID CRONENBERG: In a way that really set up my technique, my approach. Because those two films are very much found art. Scarborough College was brand new and I had access to it. And some of the other buildings—Massey College—they were just buildings that were around that I had access to. And it was the architecture first, and then the choreography second or third. I would have the building and then I could figure—the Science Centre, for example. I had access to all these places. They were fantastic sets for me to play with.
